Boyertown 1, Spring-Ford 0 >> The Bears dealt the Rams their first loss of the season in a matchup of PAC Liberty leaders Thursday night.

Mason Kurtz gave eight-save goalkeeping to Boyertown, which scored on a own goal in the 79th minute with Drew Benning the last Bears player to get a touch.

Pottsgrove 3, Upper Perkiomen 0 >> Ryan Curnew’s two-goal showing Thursday led the Falcons to victory over the Indians in their PAC Frontier Division matchup.

Shane Gleason had the other score for Pottsgrove. Ethan Pace and Landon Shivak were credited with assists.

St. Benedict’s Prep 5, Hill School 1 >> Scoring in the ninth and 19th minutes, the Grey Bees opened a lead on the Blues on the way to their non-league victory Wednesday.

The Hill (2-2-0) came out strongly against its hosts to begin the second half, pulling one goal back on a Josh Shepherd goal. But St. Benedict’s, a perennial national title contender, scored twice in the final 10 minutes of the match to rebuild its lead. Hill keeper Blake Groff posted eight saves in the loss.
