Pottsgrove 2, Phoenixville 1 >> One minute was the difference in the Falcons’ PAC Frontier victory over the Phantoms Monday.
Pottsgrove scored twice in a 51-second span late in the first half – Mike Troutman scoring off a Josh Cerrito throw-in before Troutman assisted Jeremy Thompson on the eventual game-winner less than a minute later.
Mitchell Pechacek scored on a free kick for Phoenixville with 16:21 to play but the Phantoms were unable to get the leveler past Luke Kaiser (seven saves). Phoenixville goalie Gavin Perillo had six saves in a close contest that had Phoenixville lead in shots 8-7.
Boyertown 6, Norristown 0 >> Goals by Dimitrije Randjelovic (2), Landon Wenger, Matt Esz, Noah Barnes and Andrew Benning earned the Bears a PAC Liberty win over the Eagles Monday.
Matt Selders, Jacob Groff, Dante Folk, Nick Willson and Benning were credited with assists while Tanner McCafferty made five saves for the shutout.
Upper Merion 7, Pope John Paul II 0 >> Goals from Sam Tepe (2), Marcelo Pereira (2), Romeo Mendoza, Sam Schwartz and Patryk Rojek carried Upper Merion (6-3-1) to a one-sided PAC Frontier victory Monday.
Upper Perkiomen 9, Pottstown 0 >> Blake Schwenk had a goal and two assists, Mason Powers and goal and an assist and Joe McMichael set up three scores as Upper Perk eased past Pottstown in PAC Frontier play Monday. Other UP scorers were Jack Cupitt, Austin Dunar, Cole Kendra, Kyle Shemeley, Jim Friedman, Jaz Leone and Febo Kilada.
Owen J. Roberts 4, Methacton 2 >> After a 1-1 score at halftime, OJR scored three unanswered goals in the second half on its way to the PAC Liberty victory Monday.
Ethan Gawlik and Ethan Williams tallied a goal and an assist each. Austin Chambers and Kyle Storti rounded out OJR’s scoring and Gavin Zorn had an assist. Zeb Smith made six saves for the Wildcats.
Spring-Ford 2, Perkiomen Valley 0 >> The Rams grabbed a first-half lead and added an insurance goal on the second on the way to a PAC Liberty win Monday.
Tommy Bodenschatz and Brandon Duke score the Spring-Ford goals, and Colin Trainor had an assist. Tommy McPoyle saved four shots for the Rams.
Josh Moyer kept PV in the game with nine saves as Spring-Ford put 13 shots on goal.
