Pope John Paul II 6, Pottstown 1 >> David Lattanze scored twice Wednesday to head the Golden Panthers’ PAC Frontier Division victory over the Trojans.
Lattanze had unassisted tallies in each half, helping PJP to a 2-1 lead in a first half that featured another unassisted goal by Henry Hernandez. Second-half action saw Stephan Rist and Joey Mazzio (penalty kick) join Lattanze in the scoring column, with an “own” goal by Pottstown completing the Panthers’ point output.
Dylan Russ gave PJP four-save goaltending.
Tulpehocken 2, Daniel Boone 0 >> Ace Aguirre had two goals, both assisted by Korey Ekvall, to lead the Trojans past the Blazers in Berks League play Wednesday.
Danny Krystopa’s five-save goaltending was the highlight for Boone (6-11).
Perkiomen School 5, Renaissance Ac. 1 >> Brock Reber recorded his second straight hat trick Tuesday, leading the Panthers to victory over Renaissance Academy in Tri-County Leauge play.
Owen Taylow completed Perkiomen’s scoring with a pair of tallies.
